This project started as a way to learn more about doctor patient relationships during well care visits (with an emphasis in pediatrics). It was concluded that several essential charts were not used during well child pediatric visits. The omission of these charts (and inaccuracy during hand charting) allowed patients who should be educated about obesity to slip through the cracks. In order to increase efficiency and accuracy we developed the Health Indicators Analyzer.

Live Clinical Testing

The HIA was developed with assistance and guidance by the PPRG of Chicago, Illinois. The HIA v1 and v2 were both initially created to allow the PPRG to assess the level of clinical involvement in assessing overweight in pediatric well visits.
